My Monday back to work, which was another day. Being Friday things were relatively busy so I stayed in the register mostly. They kept trying to get our help upstairs for the remodel, but as soon as any of us walked away from our register, we'd get enough visitors that we'd need their help back. After a while they just gave up on getting our help.

Most of the visitors were understanding, but it always takes the one person to just ruin our day. Some guy with his kids, he was absolutely intent on seeing the Egypt display, and wasn't about to accept any response other than "sir, yes sir." I feel for him, I really do, he was from out of state and it's not like he can come back whenever. His actions though, and the way he treated Nichole, was just unacceptable. We were happy to hand him off to John.

Hal joined me for lunch again. We didn't speak much at first, I wasn't sure what to say. I knew now why he didn't want to talk about things publicly, but it was all I could think about. He finally asked about meeting up again for another dinner. It's starting to become a routine at this point so I agreed. It'll give me the chance to ask him some questions.

So tomorrow night we're going to hit up a burger joint.
